The Müller Martini Alprinta 74V is a versatile, format-variable web offset printing press for high-quality label, packaging and film printing. It combines eight wet offset printing units with a flexo unit, IST UV drying, automatic register control and BST video web inspection in one line. Thanks to the infinitely variable format range of 20″ to 28 1/3″ (508–720 mm), the press adapts quickly to different repeat lengths without changing cylinders, which makes it ideal for printers with many different job sizes.
With a maximum web width of 740 mm, a printing width of 736 mm and a top speed of 365 m/min (1,200 ft/min), the machine delivers high productivity and excellent print quality. The fully automated touch screen control, CIP3 ink zone pre-setting and the automatic make-ready system significantly reduce set-up times and waste. Servo-driven form rollers and a film dampening system ensure stable and consistent print results, even on demanding materials such as films.
The press can process paper, board, self-adhesive materials and transparent films from approx. 40 to 250 g/m². A corona treater, web break detectors for transparent materials and UV drying with opaque white lamps make it suitable for a wide range of applications. The machine is available from the end of 2026 in Western Europe and can be tested by serious buyers. Available for sale from PP Machinery.
